The Finestres Foundation promotes literary culture as a tool to generate knowledge, awaken consciousness, and foster critical thinking.

Them Finestres Narrative Awards, convened annually by the Finestres Foundation, recognize the best work published the previous year in two categories: narrative in Catalan (novel, short stories, chronicle or non-fiction) and novel in Spanish. With a prize of €25,000 per award and a prestigious independent jury, the awards value the audacity, originality and literary quality of works published in physical format by professional publishers.

Them Comic Window Premises born with the aim of fostering comic creation in Catalan and Spanish, providing financial support to authors, and stimulating and strengthening the presence of comics within the literary system.

• It Finestres Award for Comics in Catalan It has a prize of €25,000 and includes the commitment to publish the winning work by Editorial Finestres. The jury may also award a Mention for Young Talent, with a prize of €15,000 and the publication of the work by Editorial Finestres.
• It Comic Window Award for Best WorkIt distinguishes the best work originally published in Catalan or Spanish and edited in Spain during the previous calendar year. It has a prize of 25,000 euros.
• It Premi Finestres de Còmic for Best CIJ Work It distinguishes the most relevant children's or young adult work originally published in Catalan or Spanish and published in Spain during the previous calendar year. It has an endowment of 25,000 euros.

The Finestres Essay Grants are financial aid intended for six authors to develop essay and non-fiction projects in Catalan or Spanish. They aim to encourage critical reflection and support writing with intellectual ambition and literary depth.

 The Finestres Literary Residency is a creative residency for writers from all over the world, promoted by the Finestres Foundation. Located in a house on a cliff on the Costa Brava, it offers a quiet and inspiring space to dedicate a month to writing, reflection and cultural exchange. 

The’Comic Impulse It is a course of action by the Finestres Foundation aimed at boosting young talent and local creation within the field of comics, understood as an autonomous and independent artistic discipline. With this purpose, various actions are articulated in collaboration with local agents and institutions, with the aim of contributing to the recognition, strengthening, and consolidation of comics as a reference creative field on the local cultural scene. 

The Windows Bookstore, project of the Fundació Finestres, is a network of bookstores based in Barcelona and Palamós. More than a bookstore, Finestres is a space dedicated to reading, knowledge and bibliodiversity, with a curated, innovative approach and commitment to culture.

With a demanding and multilingual editorial selection, spaces designed for calm reading and a clear commitment to sustainability, Finestres offers a unique and profound literary experience, designed for demanding and curious readers.

Finestres Publishing House has been publishing comics in Catalan since 2021 with the aim of strengthening the presence of comics within the Catalan literary ecosystem and contributing to its consolidation as a first-rate artistic and literary expression.

Its catalog, with more than thirty titles, brings together authors of international reference - such as Emil Ferris, Daniel Clowes, Catherine Meurisse, Liv Strömquist, Marjane Satrapi, Pénélope Bagieu or Rutu Modan - alongside new emerging voices such as Nadia Hafid, Genie Espinosa, Léa Murawiec, Marina Sáez, Jérémie Moreau or Nick Drnaso.

With special attention to local creation, the publisher also incorporates the winning works of the Finestres Award for Comics in Catalan, convened annually by the Finestres Foundation, which aims to promote creation in the Catalan language.
